⚽ Pupils from First to Fourth Class had a fantastic day in Castleisland taking part in a mixed football blitz with two other schools ⚽ They were all superb! We couldn't be prouder of the skill and sportsmanship that they showed today, well done everyone πŸ₯°πŸ€©Thank you to our 6th class referees who came with us and did an excellent job - fair, fun and friendly refereeing, encouraging all the children ... brilliant to see! We couldn't learn about bridges without visiting our own and examining it! We deduced from our studies that it is a Beam Bridge πŸ•΅οΈ We learned about it's history, destruction and rebuild from an article written by John Flaherty and that it was known as the bridge below the town πŸ“πŸ₯° ... We couldnt learn about bridges without visiting our own and examining it! We deduced from our studies that it is a Beam Bridge πŸ•΅οΈ We learned about its history, destruction and rebuild from an article written by John Flaherty and that it was known as the bridge below the town πŸ“πŸ₯°

The First and Second Class had great fun planting seeds and watching their hair grow .... Yes hair!! They planted cress seeds in egg shells to create Egg Heads! Studying procedural writing in English they wrote a step by step procedure πŸ“
And Mrs. O' Connell only had to eat 30 eggs to make this happen πŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸ₯š

πŸ€©πŸ™πŸ₯³πŸ«ΆThe celebrations continued for our Communion children today with their class party! If only every day at school could be like this πŸ€” .... Party table, sweets, photo shoot, mini disco, karaoke, fashion parade in the other classes, movie, games AND pizza! Our super choir that made our ceremony even more special were treated to some pizza and sweets too to say thank you 🀩πŸ₯°πŸ™πŸ₯³πŸ«Ά ... See MoreSee Less
