Grandparent’s Day 2019
Grandparent’s Day 2019: Sowing the Seeds of LoveGrandparents play an integral role in children’s lives, offering support and love unconditionally. It is for this reason that they deserve a day of celebration.Grandparents were invited to a mass in St. Mary’s Church, where our pupils read, played and sang beautifully. Following mass, an invitation was extended to all present in the church to visit the school for refreshments. A large gathering of parents and grandparents were entertained by the school’s fantastic musicians and they enjoyed a tour of the school and its facilities. Green School: Global Citizenship-Marine Environment
St. Teresa's N.S. is currently working on the Green Schools’ theme ‘Global Citizenship - Marine Environment’. We are in the second year of the two year programme and we hope to receive our green flag next Spring. All classes have completed and displayed projects and artwork based on this theme. Science Week 2018… Another Successful Science Filled Week :)The children went above and beyond this year with their amazing homemade science-based costumes for our Annual Science Dress-Up Day!!! When it came to investigating and exploring what science is all about the children surpassed themselves with their own research and experiments. Many children brought in their own materials and became Junior Scientists for the week.
