🎊🌞The celebrations continued in school today for Second Class! Sweets, treats and PIZZA were enjoyed after a special fashion parade around the school 🍕🍭🍬 We also enjoyed a movie and some time outside in the sunshine ☀️☀️
🙏They had a wonderful ceremony on Saturday in St. Mary's Church Kilflynn where they received their First Holy Communion from Fr. Keane, enhanced by our beautiful choir, to whom we are very grateful.
🙏Each communion child carried out their role to perfection and should be very proud of themselves, as their teacher Mrs. O Connell is.
🙏The parents of first class organised a fabulous party in the Columba Centre after the ceremony, providing an opportunity for the children and families to celebrate together with a fantastic spread of baked goods of all sorts! Thank you to all for organising ❤️
🍕And of course thank you to Jerry of Zam Zams for coming in especially to make and deliver pizza for us

🇫🇷💬The children said Au Revoir and a huge Merci to their French lessons with Aileen today. Third to Sixth Class have been learning French as part of the ‘Say Yes to Languages Programme.’
They have learned all about themselves, colours, numbers, les animaux and much more & had great fun with their new vocabulary each week with fun games 🇫🇷💬

This event will definitely have to make a come back!! The children enjoyed it SO much it was fabulous to see 🥰 with whole school, mixed teams the competitive sides were out but even more evident was the comradery and the support! We have wonderful children in our school 🥰😇💪
